In the first period of learning the guitar, Daniel was awarded 1st prizes for several times on federal level of Germany’s most famous competition for young musicians (Jugend musiziert). Later, after entering the music conservatory, Daniel achieved successful results on national level as well. He was awarded a 3rd and 1st prize.

Furthermore, he was awardee of the prize to promote young talents by the association for guitar and mandolin music BZVS. In the end of his time in Saarland, he was decorated by a scholarship of the Detmolder Summerschool an associated with outstanding performance in a competition.
